Cindy (pictured, right) was living in Texas working as a caregiver in a Senior Center. When she was laid off from her employment, she packed up her car and drove to Arvada to move in with her sister, Mona. Mona suffers from strokes and is on Disability. These two sisters stick together and try to make the best of a tough situation. They enjoy sitting at the kitchen table and squeezing oranges from IFCS to make fresh OJ. Together they’ve made apple pie and apple butter. They enjoyed finding new recipes together during lockdown.
