What if we told you that you could contribute a financial donation to Integrated Family Community Services (IFCS) without spending a penny beyond what you’re already paying for your groceries? It sounds unbelievable, but it’s a real possibility—thanks to the King Soopers Community Rewards Program. This program is part of King Soopers’ commitment to community engagement, positive social impact, and charitable giving at both national and local levels. Their goal is to partner with the neighborhoods they serve and help people live healthier lives.
King Soopers Commitment to Community
The Community Rewards Program is a simple way for King Soopers shoppers to support their favorite nonprofit just by buying groceries. They empower customers to support a cause effortlessly, fostering stronger communities and making a positive impact.
Here’s how it works: when you link your King Soopers rewards card to IFCS through their Community Rewards portal, King Soopers donates 1% of your eligible purchases directly to IFCS. No extra cost to you. No round-up at checkout. Just automatic giving built into your everyday shopping.
How to Set Up Your Rewards Account:
- Log in to your King Soopers account at www.kingsoopers.com. (If you don’t yet have an account, create one using your Rewards Card ID Number. If you don’t yet have a Rewards Card, ask for one next time you’re checking out at a King Soopers Grocery Store.)
- Navigate to “My Account” and find the Community Rewards section.
- Search for Integrated Family Community Services or use our organization number: JM179.
- Click Enroll, and that’s it!
From then on, every time you swipe your rewards card (or enter your phone number) at checkout, 1% of your purchase total goes to helping families in need through IFCS programs. It’s a small step for you—but a big impact for the community.
Currently we have 40 families that have designated IFCS as recipient of their Community Rewards, and we received $250 from their January-March grocery shopping. That’s a collective donation of $1000/year from these households, without their spending a penny beyond their own shopping needs. Each rewards account holder’s information is kept private, so we don’t know who the anonymous shoppers are. Thanks to our unsung heroes for nourishing lives!
