When we receive funding for rent assistance programs, you will find opportunities listed on this page. Please review eligibility criteria and instructions on how to apply before submitting an Interest Form; this will help us work as efficiently as possible. Thank you!
Households that are not eligible for IFCS Rent Assistance or Housing Programs are encouraged to:
- Contact the 2-1-1 Mile High United Way Help Desk to connect with other nonprofits and government agencies to find rental assistance programs in your area.

Arapahoe County One Time Rent Assistance
IFCS’ One-Time Rent Payment Assistance for Arapahoe County Residents: Application Dates Pending Funding
This is a limited program providing one month’s rent payment assistance to those meeting very specific eligibility criteria. Rental assistance will be provided on a first come, first serve basis and applicants will only qualify once per year, when assistance is available.
If qualified, submit an Eligibility Determination Form below.
- Applicant’s household income must be below 200% of the Federal Poverty Level (FPL).
- Applicant must be renting an apartment, condo, duplex, house, mobile home lot, or townhome within Arapahoe County (located in Centennial, Englewood, Glendale, Greenwood Village, Littleton, Sheridan, or unincorporated Arapahoe County west of I-25). Please note: IFCS utilizes this Address Lookup Website to verify the city within Arapahoe County.
- Applicant must have an active lease and be able to show proof of that lease.
- Applicant must be currently caught up on rental payments, but unable to pay their February or March rent in 2026.
Funding is limited and applications are processed first-come, first-served.
- Submit the Interest Form: Complete the pre-eligibility form on our website. If eligible, you’ll receive an email with next steps. This does not guarantee rental assistance.
- Complete the Application Within 3 Days: Eligible applicants will receive an application via DocuSign. You must submit all forms and upload required documents within 3 days to stay eligible.
Documents needed:- Photo ID for all adults (18+)
- Proof of income (last 30 days)
- Signed, active lease
- Recent rent ledger from landlord/property manager
- Application Review & Landlord Verification: IFCS will review your application and verify your lease and rent with your landlord. Incomplete applications may lose priority.
- Approval & Payment: If approved and funding is available, one month of rent is paid directly to the landlord. You and your landlord will receive confirmation from IFCS.
Rapid Re-housing Program
Through a partnership with Innovative Housing Concepts, IFCS’s Rapid Re-housing Program aims to relocate eligible individuals and households to affordable permanent housing and achieve stability in that housing.
Please note: This program is run through a partnership with Innovative Housing Concepts. IFCS acts as a referring partner and being accepted for referral does not guarantee assistance as it is based on additional interviews and eligibility requirements specified by Innovative Housing Concepts.
- Applicants must live within or be willing to be relocated to the Tri-Cities area of Englewood, Littleton, and Sheridan in the state of Colorado.
- Applicants must be unhoused, defined by lacking a fixed, regular and adequate nighttime residence.
- Applicants must have proof of income.
- All interested applicants must complete an interest form by clicking on the link below. This will determine if you meet the requirements of the application. (Please note, the interest form is NOT the application).
- If an applicant qualifies, they will be contacted for a phone interview by our staff.

Application processing times are currently delayed. If you applied or are applying in July or August, you may not receive a response until September. We appreciate your patience as we are receiving training and fine-tuning the referral process to better serve you.
Rental Assistance & Housing Resources
At this time, we have no resources to administer any rental assistance or housing navigation programs. Please refer to our list of Additional Resources, and sign up for IFCS updates.
In partnership with Arapahoe County, IFCS is offering assistance with navigating housing resources.
Who: If you live and receive benefits in Arapahoe County, you are eligible for these services.
Please note: Services do not include motel or housing vouchers or immediate housing placements.
When: 1st and 4th Tuesday of the month between 9:00 – 11:00 am
