Arapahoe County One Time Rent Assistance Program
One Time Rent Assistance will be provided on a first come, first served basis to assist with rent for the month of February or March. Once funding is exhausted, we will close the Interest Form.
Eligibility:
- Applicant must be a current IFCS program participant.
- Applicant’s household income must be below 200% of the Federal Poverty Level (FPL).
- Applicant must be renting an apartment, condo, duplex, house, mobile home lot, or townhome within Arapahoe County (located in Centennial, Englewood, Glendale, Greenwood Village, Littleton, Sheridan, or unincorporated Arapahoe County west of I-25). IFCS uses this website to determine Arapahoe County boundaries.
- Applicant must have an active lease and be able to show proof of that lease.
- Applicant must be currently caught up on rental payments, but unable to pay their February or March rent in 2026.
How to Apply:
Funding is limited and applications are processed first-come, first-served.
- Submit the Interest Form: Complete the pre-eligibility form on our website. If eligible, you’ll receive an email with next steps. This does not guarantee rental assistance.
- Complete the Application Within 3 Days: Eligible applicants will receive an application via DocuSign. You must submit all forms and upload required documents within 3 days to stay eligible.
Documents needed:- Photo ID for all adults (18+)
- Proof of income (last 30 days)
- Signed, active lease
- Recent rent ledger from landlord/property manager
- Application Review & Landlord Verification: IFCS will review your application and verify your lease and rent with your landlord. Incomplete applications may lose priority.
- Approval & Payment: If approved and funding is available, one month of rent is paid directly to the landlord. You and your landlord will receive confirmation from IFCS.
